Pastor During a visit to the Holy Land in 2006, one of the deacons of Jerusalem Baptist Church told him, "You'd be a good pastor here. You look Jewish, you're Italian and have a Mediterranean personality like Israelis!" Pastor Al replied that he was very happy in Vienna, thank you....but God had other plans for their future.

A graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary, Dr. Al Nucciarone pastors the Jerusalem Baptist Church and also teaches once a month at the All Nations Church located in Petach Tikva. He and his wife Billie accepted the call to pastor at Jerusalem Baptist Church just before Christmas, 2007. They come to us after pastoring for 12 years in Milan, Italy, and 14 years in Vienna, Austria.

Pastor Al is also the Fellowship of Christian Athletes Representative in Israel, and arranges for players and coaches to visit Israel to participate in sports or coach local teams. He works with the Baptist Village Sports Camp and the Palestinian Basketball League, but he's always ready to bring sports to any venue. If you share Pastor Al's passion for sports and would be interested in more information on serving in Israel, be sure to send him an email at jerbapch@netvision.net.il.

The Jerusalem Post interviewed Pastor Al and Billie in this article: "Greener Pastors."

Pastor Al spoke on Harvest TV about the National Day of Prayer. His interview begins at about 15 minutes into the video.

Enjoy Pastor Al's teaching on God's Grace from his summer trip to the States, which included South Tulsa Baptist Church.
